Modular dimension blocks are blocks that match modular coordination in all dimensions (normal format bricks NF cannot be integrated into a modular system)
The dimensions of these blocks can be 1M, 1.5M, 2M, 3M, 4M, which equals 10, 15, 20, 30, 40 cm. Although the blocks have these markings, they are actually 1 cm shorter because the thickness of the collar and bed joint must be taken into account, so the actual production measures of the blocks are 9, 14, 19, 29, 39 cm.
Porotherm blocks are 20, 25, 30, 38, or 45 cm wide. The lengths are 25 cm. The height of the block is greater than the usual height and corresponds to a module of 25 cm. Only four rows of bricks fit into a meter of wall height, allowing for faster construction. Their main characteristic is a notched collar with a "mortar pocket" that allows for longer heat transfer from one side of the wall to the other, resulting in significantly better thermal properties of the wall.
The block bond is, as a rule, a brick bond, with each subsequent row overlapping by half a brick. The use of thermal mortar for bed joints and filling mortar pockets further improves the thermal properties.

The Porotherm masonry code does not require vertical reinforcement for the following building heights and seismic zones.

For residential buildings of greater height, vertical curtain walls with corner elements are used. On the outer side of the corner element, a facade element with built-in thermal insulation is installed.

The advantages of building with Porotherm blocks: they are faster to build with than with NF bricks, lighter, better thermal insulators, and thus more economical.
