A roof covering made of flat metal sheets can be installed on any and even the most complicated roof shape, on domes and towers. Metal roofs are very durable, quickly and easily draining rainwater. They conduct heat well, so condensate appears on the underside of the metal sheet due to the temperature difference. It creates corrosion of the metal and decay of the wooden substrate, so it is obligatory to lay a roof membrane. Metal roofs are noisy, so we need to install sound insulation as well. For roofing, the most commonly used materials are galvanized steel, then zinc, copper, and aluminum sheets in the form of flat, corrugated, and ribbed sheets.

They are used for the construction of roofs and facades. They are installed on carriers made of wooden battens, steel or AB profiles parallel to the roof. They start to be installed on the roof from the opposite side of the strongest wind action with overlaps. The length of the overlaps depends on the roof pitch, ranging from 15 - 20 cm. If the overlaps of the tiles are allowed, smaller pitches up to 60 are permitted.
